About

We are a small family business inspired by our love for sikhi and its principles.  Sikhism represents love and respect for all of nature’s creation and exemplifies pursuit of life guided by truth, selflessness, humility, and devotion.  The Gurbani connects us eternally and we experience the virtuous reverberance each time we recite the verses.  Being distant and away from the roots for many years here in USA, on many occasions it felt that there was something missing.  It was that sense of longing which set-in motion the creation of “Sikh Essentials” website.  With our online store we hope to provide you access to a collection of spiritually desired and culturally enriched selection of items that bring a sense of fulfillment and pride.  Many of the design illustrations in our online store are contributions from gifted members of our extended family in USA and UK, made possible only by the love and blessings of the family elders.
